Welcome to 4WD Exposure which as the name suggests is all about "capturing the image"
Have you ever looked at the photos you took on your last holiday and wondered why they weren’t what you hoped for?
If so, you are not alone – we have all been there. Even in the ‘digital age’ capturing those images is not as simple as ‘point and shoot’’.
And getting to the right places can be equally challenging, especially in Australia, where many of the iconic locations are at best semi-remote.
But if you have access to the basic equipment – a camera and (in some cases) a recreational vehicle - 4WD Exposure can help.
4WD Exposure provides you with a unique combination of 4WD, photographic and image processing expertise. Peter Ryan and Robert Norman offer skills and experience to help you take home the images that do justice to your memories. So what do you get?
So if you enjoy the great outdoors and want to take better photographs (we promise you will), come along on one of our weekend packages or our longer week long workshops to the scenic Victorian High Country, South Australian Flinders Ranges and Outback.
As well as photography, you can learn more about driving your recreational or 4WD vehicle. Robert is an experienced trip leader and committee member for one of Melbourne's major 4WD clubs. Every participant in our week long workshops receives, as part of the workshop cost, a 1 day course with an accredited driving instructor who specialises in the recreational use of 4WD's.
Most iconic Australian landscape locations are at best semi-remote and getting to them requires an appropriate vehicle. While any recreational vehicle can participate on all 4WD Exposure workshops (except the Simpson Desert), and a basic 4WD is a better proposition again, the Victorian High Country weekend and all week long workshops are not suitable for standard passenger vehicles. 4WD Exposure does run weekend workshops to the Great Ocean Road and other locations where a recreational vehicle is not necessary.
4WD EXposure is run by photographers Peter Ryan and Robert Norman who have joined forces to offer workshops and tutorials with a difference.
